I have a growing interest in writing computer games and I am currently teaching myself a number of the required skills. Once I have written some demonstration games I will upload them here for your enjoyment!

Currently I am teaching myself C and C++ to complement my other language skills (Visual Basic 6, Java, etc.) and I am looking forward to learning about DirectX and other ways to produce graphics. I am using information from 'Windows Games Programming with Visual Basic and DirectX' by Wayne S. Freeze, along with University notes.

Recently I have discovered a program called Adventure Game Studio (AGS) written by Chris Jones. This program allows the creation of point 'n' click adventure games without the need for vast amounts of programming. So, inbetween learning DirectX, writing websites and working for Compact Services I have also been writing my first game using this which is now available below.

Bart's Quest For TV

Bart comes home from school looking forward to watching TV (as opposed to doing homework!) but he can't seem to find the remote!
Help Bart find the TV remote.

My first game created with AGS is a simple, single room, point 'n' click based on the ever famous Simpsons.

Hangman

A friend asked me to write a hangman game for them which would read the words from a text file so that it could be used to help learn a foreign language... so here it is! It's very simple and straightforward!

This is written in VB.Net so you'll need to have the .Net Framework installed to be able to play.

Extract the 3 files into a folder, double click hangman.exe to play.
